报告摘要： Smart cities are the future to handle population shifts and the increased demand of services. However, safety becomes one of the most important concerns with respect to the fact that more than 1 million crimes happened in U.S. every year. We propose a safety centric platform leveraging redundant computing and communication capabilities of mobile devices or autonomous vehicles to enable local processing, which reduces the service latency, eliminates potential network congestion, and improves resource utilization.
报告人简介： 庞亚伟，2010年毕业于合肥工业大学电子信息工程系，获工学学士学位；2015年在美国德克萨斯南方大学酷游ku111备用线路科学系获工学硕士学位，2019年在美国佛罗里达大学（University of Florida）电子与酷游ku111备用线路工程系（Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering）获博士学位。已发表了多篇英文学术论文，其中包括 IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Trans. on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Trans. on Wireless Communications等重要期刊论文。担任IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Trans. on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Trans. on Green Communications and Networking等网络领域的著名国际学术期刊的审稿人。
